Throughout March and April 2019 I will be artist in residence at Bankside Hotel, London in conjunction with my gallery Contemporary Collective. This is a fantastic new arts-led hotel, supporting emerging artists in Central London by giving them space, exhibitions and opportunities to develop their work.

During my residency, I will be hosting events, studio talks and continuing my figurative paintings on gold backgrounds. I have been developing this series for the past year, using a number of different compositions and poses to try to capture the qualities I find so interesting and admirable in each sitter. Many of the figures are women, who I have met through working in the London art world or as a practicing artist.
